The show is a boost Couture Reaction to the Ecological Movement. Upcycled, repurposed and found materials are used to create elaborate detailed Trashion designs. The emphasis of the show is to create an awareness of the environment by showcasing how everyday objects are repurposed into valuable art pieces. Each artist will display several visually stunning works including two and three dimensional pieces of their current body of work during the show.
My work has been accepted into the ArtFields 2018 competition, a diverse Art competition in Lake City, SC exhibiting approximately 400 works selected from 900 submissions from across the 12 Southeast States that awards more than $120,000 in cash prizes. The accepted artwork represents a wide range in subject matter, media, and creative approaches. Stay tuned with more information on where I'll be exhibiting!!!
