Bio

I am a sustainable artist residing in Columbia, SC. Born of an Italian father and an American mother, I was raised in northern Italy where my work won numerous prizes and awards in school competitions. I made the United States my home in 1979.

I love the freedom of creating what I want from random objects. I am held to no parameters, I am sold to no particular media, I like them all and love to cross breed them. This allows me to create many fun pieces and allows me the ability to awe the viewer with a piece of disposed material that is turned into something so interesting when multiplied exponentially.

My work has been seen in numerous exhibitions in South Carolina and beyond and a number of solo shows including three upcoming solos; Dalton Gallery at the Yorks Center for the Arts in Rock Hill, NC (2025), Brookgreen Gardens at the Rosen Gallery (2026) & The Annette Turner Center for the Arts (2026) Selected exhibitions include (2025) - 38th Annual McNeese National Works on Paper* at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, where my work was purchased for their permanent collection; (2024) - 135th Anniversary Year of NAWA,  Hollis Taggart Gallery, New York; (2023) - 701 CCA South Carolina Biennial, Columbia, SC; (2024-25) Shanghai International Paper Art Biennial, Guangzhou, China; Piccolo Spoleto Art Exhibition, Charleston, SC; 36th Annual McNeese National Works on Paper,  McNeese State University, Lake Charles, LA; 2022 -  Series Artists 2022-2023, Camelback Gallery; 2020 Tiny But Mighty - D’Art Center, Norfolk, VA; 2019 - The Supper Table (traveling exhibition); I was invited to be a part of the Creative group to represent Charlotte in their Art Campaign for the Levine Center for the Arts (2016); the ad was a tv spot and printed campaign.
