Victoria - recycled paper coil assemblage sculpture

0.00

Victoria measures 18" tall, 17" wide & 16" deep.

You can almost see the what inspired me to this piece, the direction that I am taking with my coils, it's growing, expanding, blooming, it is taking a life of it's own. I love exploring my boundaries, I am creating a diverse variety of coils, in this one I have some solid coils, some open center coils, some with resin, some more like quills where the center is loose and some are teardrop shape. I have decided to add some color to the recycled paper I use, there was too much white in the paper so I am now adding color to add intensity to the depth. If spent four weeks making the coils for this piece and assembling the sculpture which I started assembling freehand, no base, an unexpected challenge...
