Orchidaceae - recycled paper assemblage sculpture

0.00

Orchidaceae is the latin name for Orchid, this assembled sculpture was inspired by the natural progression of things, while working on one vessel/sculpture, the next one starts formulating in my head, to counter the direction I am headed in and the constant question that lives in my mind, What If… What if I grow the sculpture outward instead of inward, what if I create my next piece with an open side revealing and exposing the base which I will create with floating coils, trapped in resin. What if I stack some of them to give it more depth… Love exploring my endless possibilities and love how far I can take my curiosity.
